We are looking for a reliable and organised cleaner to help maintain clean, safe and welcoming premises. You will carry out routine cleaning tasks to a high standard, follow health and safety procedures, and contribute to a positive environment for staff, visitors and customers.

Cleaner responsibilities

• Clean designated rooms, offices, communal areas and facilities in line with agreed schedules.

• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors, and dust and wipe surfaces.

• Clean kitchen, washrooms and other high-use areas, including replenishing supplies where required.

• Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with site procedures.

• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and as instructed.

• Report maintenance issues, damage, low supplies or potential hazards promptly.

• Follow cleaning checklists, hygiene standards and health and safety guidance.

Cleaner skills and experience

• Some cleaning experience is helpful.

• A dependable, thorough and practical approach to work.

• The ability to work independently and manage tasks within agreed timeframes.

• Good attention to detail and an understanding of safe working practices.

• The ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions.

• Physical ability to carry out routine cleaning duties, including standing, bending and moving cleaning equipment.

Working arrangements

Working hours: 2 days per week, 2 hours each day.

£13.50 / hour
